  • The BASIC CLOTHING of ancient greek women were: Himation, Peplos, Chiton.

  • Clothing in ancient greece was LOOSE FITTING.

  • Both men and women tipically wore SLEEVELESS TUNICS:

°WOMEN TUNICS: Usually ankle length.


°MEN TUNICS: Shorter than women tunics.



  • For common people the usual color was PLAIN.

  • Greeks during WINTER wore a heavy wool cloak for warmth.
