Hi, my name is Pan. I am the god of shepherds and of music. Im the son of Hermes and a nymph.
I was born with the legs and horns of a goat, which caused my own mother to abandone me. One of my loves, a nymph, ran away from me and she 
was transformed into a reed, which inspired me to invent the reed, a wind musical instrument.
